CLINICAL PRODUCT SPECIALIST

​POSITION DESCRIPTION
As Clinical Product Specialist, you will provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist our Suture Concepts sales and customer service objectives. Create and manage customer relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations. Represent and champion clinical applications and support needs for new product development. You will focus on clinical uses, education and improving customer user experience. You will also work closely with the Suture Concepts distribution network and with end users in both pre and post-sale situations. As needed, you will apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues where needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 
Technical, Clinical and Customer Education

• Represents Suture Concepts during Spinal Cord Stimulation procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance.
• Understands national and territory sales objectives. Works in partnership with Leadership Team to achieve exceed goals.
• Serves as effective Suture Concepts representative to physicians and support staff regarding Suture Concepts products, service and support.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple accounts and customer needs
• Monitor and reports on customer satisfaction issues based on customer interactions and customer feedback.
• Plan and provides customer in-service, training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel. Education and Training includes: One-on-one training sessions, In-service education programs, Seminars and/or outside symposiums.
• Schedule appropriate resources to deliver education events
• Assess customer education needs, suggest and modify training materials as agreed
• Works within team and/or others to plan and develop educational programs and seminars
• Contribute to content development and review product documentation (IFUs, Technique Manuals, etc.) for assigned products
• Understand and adheres to hospital policies related to vendor requirements
• Submit accurate, timely monthly reports for work performed by end of month
• ​Ability to wear 7-9 lbs of lead for extended periods of time while in the OR

DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in the Neuro Modulation field, hospital/clinic or sales.
• If the final candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and less than the required experience, then the position may be filled at the Associate Clinical Specialist level.
• Proven track record with technical training assignments.
• Associates or higher degree in a health related field or discipline; or possess equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of the clinical environments, 5+ years of experience preferred
• Medical/industry certification
• Registered Nurse/Therapist background preferred
• Proficient with computers and office tools
• Project or account management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent customer and teamwork skills
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively with ease (approximately 80% of time)
